SantoWines Assyrtiko

Dry White, PDO Santorini

Grape: Assyrtiko

Vinification: Classic white wine vinification in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes: Bright, clear yellow color. Dry with a distinct aromas of citrus and flowers, combined with hints of smoke and minerals from the volcanic soil. Full-bodied, well-balanced with intense flavors and long after taste.

Food Pairing: Serve at 10-12oC. Perfect for Greek and European cuisines based on fish and seafood.


SantoWines Nykteri

Dry White Wine, PDO Santorini

Grapes: Assyrtiko, Athiri, Aidani

Vinification: Classic whit wine vinification. Aged 3 months in oak barrels

Tasting Notes: Crystal-clear, semi-yellow color. Dominated by aromas of jasmine, citrus fruits, flowers and pear with gentle hints of vanilla. Full-bodied with a charming personality and a long after taste.

Food Pairing: Serve at 10-12oC. Goes well with grilled food, poultry, as well as traditional Santorini dishes such as tomato fritters and fava.


SantoWines Santorini Vinsanto

Sweet white wine, PDO Santorini

Grapes: Assyrtiko, Aidani

Vinification: Grapes are sun dried for 8 –10 days. Slow fermentation for 2 – 3 months. Aged 2-3 years months in oak barrels.


Tasting Notes: Amber color with tones of chestnut brown. Unique aromas and bouquet brought on by the aging process with a combination of sweet spice, honey, raisins and lemon flowers. Perfectly balance of acidity and intense sweet flavors.

Food Pairing: Serve at 8˚C, as a dessert wine or with fresh fruits and light desserts

SantoWines, (Union of Santorini Cooperative) has been an integral part of Santorini’s historic winemaking tradition since 1947 and continues to flourish with the support of its 2500 members. SantoWines successfully combines the latest in modern winemaking techniques with a strong commitment to the sustainable development of the Santorini vineyard as well as to maintaining the longstanding viticultural and winemaking traditions of Santorini that have been passed down through generations of its dedicated members. SantoWines has also been instrumental in continuing the cultivation of other traditional artisanal agricultural products native to the island. Situated in the village of Pyrgos, the winery of SantoWines and their Oenotourism Center, welcome visitors from all over the world as they enjoy one of the most spectacular views of the famous Santorini Caldera from their beautiful veranda and tasting rooms.
